A step toward great taste

I blogged a while back about how we improved the taste of our meal replacement and protein bars. Now, I am happy to report that I've tried the new Nutrilite Sports Nutrition energy bars, and they really taste great. So far, I've sampled the Vanilla Pretzel and the Peanut Butter Pretzel, and they both are fantastic. And not bad with 14 grams of protein each!

I'm really glad to see that we are releasing food bars and energy bars that actually taste great.

Hi Gregory...I totally agree. I tried these at Achievers. What a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth!

These new bars ROCK! A bar with two mini pretzels resting next to each other on top of a Snicker-type bar. Then coated with peanut butter or vanilla (like a yogurt-covered pretzel taste). Crunchy, chewy, sweet, and a little teeny bit of salty. Yum! I'm surprised that the website doesn't offer pictures of the bars. Just pics of the packaging. The Trim Protein Snack Bars have pics of the actual bars. I think the Energy Bars should too. IBOs may sample these out to customers, but IBOs may be hesitant to buy them first, if they don't know what the heck they look like.

Gregory, These bars may taste great, but Nutrilite just lost my business on them! By getting rid of the Caramel Peanut and Fudge Power Nutrition Energy bars--that had only 7g net carbs--and replacing them with bars that have 19g carbs with 13g sugar, all of us with Type 2 Diabetes can no longer use them for a lo-carb high protein nutrition option. The Trim Advantage bars, with the exception of the Lemon, just don't come close in flavor and satisfaction. The chocolate and strawberry are just plain nasty. Diabetics--all 20 million of us in the US alone, need great-tasting, satisfying and effective Sports Nutrition, too!
